Hello,
I'm new to motorcycling and have an '86 Savage that I am
reassembling (however, I didn't have the luxury of disassembling it).
I see that my question has been asked at least once before,
but the responses weren't really definitive. So, here goes:
After putting on the carb, I have two vacuum nipples that
point toward the rear of the bike, one on either side, that
aren't connected to anything. The bike seems to run fine
like this, but I can't imagine they are meant to be left
open. I have a Clymer manual, but there seems to be no
mention of these. To what, if anything, do these connect?
